About free3D.io

free3D.io is a free, no-registration archive of 3D models for architects, interior designers, visualizers and CG artists. The catalog holds 60,000+ objects — furniture, lighting, doors and windows, kitchen and bathroom equipment, decor, plants, vehicles, people and architectural elements — organised into 50+ categories and 8,000+ tags.

What you get

• Formats: .gsm (ArchiCAD GDL objects), .obj (universal) and .3ds (3ds Max legacy), usually bundled in one archive per model.
• Compatible with: ArchiCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Blender, Cinema 4D, Enscape, Twinmotion, Lumion, D5 Render and any tool that imports OBJ/3DS.
• Licence: free for personal and commercial visualization projects under our Terms of Use; redistribution and resale of the files are not permitted.
• No sign-up: every model downloads directly from its page.

Where the models come from

The archive aggregates objects published by their authors on partner community sites (primarily Archibase) and mirrors them with previews, size and format metadata. If you are an author and want a model credited differently or removed, write to us — takedown requests are handled within a few days.
